Great warm apps; my fave is the eggplant. As you know, my test for sushi is to try the chirashi and I've tended to get the best of the day and have always had a great experience.
Situated in The Barlow marketplace, Sushi Kosho brings a progressive, locally-sourced approach to Japanese dining. Multiple local 'best sushi' lists include it, though some reviewers note occasional inconsistency. Chirashi is often a test dish for sushi restaurants: whether they give you quality pieces or what feels like overstock.
