The Spinster Sisters

Santa Rosa

Why go

Spinster Sisters is where you go a spot-on meal that is fully seasonal. Other than a few dishes, including their incredible burger on Wednesday nights, the menu changes often.

From a visit

We've been going here since 2017 and continue to be regulars. The outdoor garden for warm evenings is lovely. I also love the lighting in the restaurant at sunset: very magical. And the food is always fresh and new. I've never had the same dish twice. A particularly memorable meal was our first meal to celebrate finally moving to Sonoma full-time. The meal was a Beef Cheek Bourguignon served with a spaghetti squash gratin. I know the occasion contributed to how memorable the meal was but the dishes were outstanding.

What it's known for

One of Santa Rosa's most respected neighborhood restaurants: seasonal New American cooking, smart use of Sonoma produce, and a relaxed but design-forward room in the Arts District. The place serious locals send visitors when asked 'where should I actually eat in Santa Rosa.' Market-driven menu that changes regularly.
