Santa Rosa
Why go
The lox and latke Benedict with schmaltz hollandaise is what most people rave about but I haven’t tried it.
A regular lunch spot for us. Solid pastrami. Great matzo ball soup, even though the noodles included in the soup not a traditional one (spaghetti) 😊. The cabbage rolls are my favorite, the thing most people would probably skip but I couldn’t recommend them more. Comforting and delicious.
Santa Rosa's standout Jewish-style deli. The lox and latke Benedict with schmaltz hollandaise is the popular pick; add caviar if feeling indulgent. Warm neighborhood energy and great service.
