Petaluma
Why I'm intrigued
The Table Culture Provisions team's casual French sibling, at roughly half the price.
Petaluma's newest entry from the Table Culture Provisions team, Bijou brings the same French-California sensibility as its Michelin-adjacent sibling restaurant but in a more accessible format. Chef Stéphane Saint Louis applies classical French technique to North Bay seasonal produce (think stuffed housemade pastas, Flannery rib eye in peppercorn sauce, and a croque monsieur with shaved truffle) at prices roughly half those of Table Culture. Sonoma Magazine named it among its Best New Restaurants, and early reviewers call the value-to-craft ratio one of the better deals in Sonoma County right now.
