Why I'm intrigued
A French neighbor who has impeccable taste and is a great cook herself, loves this place so I’ve added it to the list.
Petaluma's newest entry from the Table Culture Provisions team, Bijou brings the same French-California sensibility as its Michelin-adjacent sibling restaurant but in a more accessible format. Chef Stéphane Saint Louis applies classical French technique to North Bay seasonal produce (think stuffed housemade pastas, Flannery rib eye in peppercorn sauce, and a croque monsieur with shaved truffle) at prices roughly half those of Table Culture. Early reviewers say the value-to-craft ratio is one of the better deals in Sonoma County right now.
