Go for the food, not the view.
Celebrated a special birthday here and it was lovely. The chocolate peanut butter dessert was like the most elevated reeses peanut butter cup in the best way possible. I had a seasonal halibut with seasonal vegetables that was perfectly cooked.
Michael Mina's wine country restaurant serves regional California cuisine from a hearth oven inside the Lodge at Sonoma. Genuinely good cooking with a wood-fired focus and a serious wine program. The location, across from Train Town on Broadway, is more roadside-lodge than scenic terrace but the food makes up for the lack of a view.
